Terms of Use

ElevateU provides educational programs, career-readiness tools, assessments, AI-literacy education, experiential-learning opportunities, authentic business challenges, professional portfolio development, educator resources, and related services for students, parents, educators, schools, colleges, universities, and organizations.

ElevateU's Services are intended for educational, developmental, career-exploration, and informational purposes.

ElevateU does not provide legal, financial, medical, psychological, or licensed professional counseling services.

Career recommendations, assessment results, educational guidance, AI-readiness indicators, career-readiness scores, archetypes, suggested pathways, and similar outputs are tools intended to support reflection, learning, and decision-making.

They do not constitute guarantees or definitive predictions concerning admission, employment, compensation, career advancement, academic achievement, or any other outcome.

ElevateU's general Services are designed primarily for high school students, university students, young adults, parents, educators, and educational institutions.

The Career Readiness Index is designed primarily for students and young adults age 16 and older who are beginning to explore careers and prepare for their transition into the workforce.

ElevateU does not currently independently verify the age of every person who accesses the website or assessment.

Children under 13 should not independently submit personal information through ElevateU's public website or online assessments.

Different requirements may apply when ElevateU Services are delivered through a school or other educational institution.

Users may not:

• violate applicable laws or regulations;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent their identity;
• knowingly provide materially false or misleading information;
• interfere with the security or operation of ElevateU's Services;
• attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or information;
• upload malicious software or harmful code;
• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
• submit confidential or proprietary information without authorization;
• misuse AI tools in violation of applicable program requirements;
• use assessments or proprietary materials to create competing products or services; or
• reproduce, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit ElevateU proprietary materials without authorization.

ElevateU's curriculum, frameworks, methodologies, assessments, assessment questions, scoring systems, instructional materials, graphics, branding, videos, guides, workbooks, templates, website content, program designs, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to ElevateU and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Access to ElevateU materials grants users a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use those materials for their authorized personal or educational purposes.

No ownership rights in ElevateU intellectual property are transferred to users unless expressly agreed in writing.

Students generally retain ownership of original work they create through ElevateU programs unless different terms are expressly established for a particular project, challenge, or institutional program.

Participation does not automatically authorize ElevateU, a school, or a participating organization to use a student's identifiable work, name, image, likeness, or testimonial publicly for promotional purposes.

Separate permission may be obtained where appropriate.

Some ElevateU programs involve authentic projects or challenges provided by companies, nonprofits, community organizations, or other participating organizations.

These experiences are educational in nature.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise:

• students are not employees, contractors, or agents of participating organizations;
• participation does not constitute an offer or promise of employment, internship, or future engagement;
• student work represents educational analysis and recommendations;
• participating organizations are not obligated to implement student recommendations;
• students must comply with applicable confidentiality requirements; and
• project-specific intellectual-property, confidentiality, or portfolio-use terms may apply.

ElevateU encourages thoughtful, responsible, and transparent use of artificial intelligence. Certain ElevateU Services, including features of the Career Readiness Index, may use third-party AI technologies to generate, analyze, personalize, or enhance reports, insights, recommendations, or other content.

AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs are provided for educational, developmental, career-exploration, and informational purposes. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, outdated, or otherwise unreliable and should not be treated as professional advice, a definitive assessment of an individual, or a guarantee of any academic, employment, career, financial, or other outcome.

Users remain responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated information and for exercising independent judgment concerning decisions made using such information. Use of AI does not relieve participants of responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, originality, or appropriateness of work they submit.

Specific programs or educational institutions may establish additional rules concerning permitted or prohibited AI use. Information processed through AI-enabled features is handled as described in ElevateU's Privacy Policy.

ElevateU assessments are developmental and educational tools.

Scores and results are based on participant responses and ElevateU's applicable assessment methodology.

Certain reports, insights, recommendations, or other outputs may be generated or enhanced using artificial intelligence based on participant responses, assessment scores, and other information voluntarily provided by the user. Such AI-assisted content does not change the educational and developmental nature of the assessment and remains subject to the limitations described in Section 8.

Assessment results should not be interpreted as psychological testing, clinical evaluation, professional licensure assessment, or definitive prediction of academic or career success.

No assessment can fully measure an individual's abilities, potential, circumstances, or future development.

Use of ElevateU's Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how ElevateU collects, uses, protects, and discloses personal information.

Where paid products or Services are offered, applicable prices and material payment terms will be disclosed before purchase.

Additional payment, cancellation, refund, or program terms may apply to institutional programs, assessments, courses, workshops, consulting engagements, or other paid offerings.

Unless otherwise stated in applicable purchase or program terms, fees for Services already provided are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.

If ElevateU offers automatically renewing consumer subscriptions in the future, additional renewal and cancellation terms will be presented as required by applicable law.

ElevateU may integrate with, use, or provide access to independent third-party websites, AI systems, learning platforms, portfolio tools, technology providers, or other services.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

ElevateU is not responsible for independent third-party services outside its reasonable control.

ElevateU seeks to help participants develop skills, judgment, AI literacy, career readiness, professional confidence, and evidence of capability.

Individual outcomes depend on numerous factors outside ElevateU's control.

ElevateU therefore does not guarantee employment, internships, interviews, admission, compensation, promotions, academic outcomes, business opportunities, or other specific results.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ElevateU's Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

ElevateU does not warrant that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or appropriate for every individual's particular needs or objectives.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, protections, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ElevateU Enterprises LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of the Services.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, ElevateU's liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that applicable law prohibits ElevateU from limiting.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users agree to indemnify and hold ElevateU Enterprises LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and representatives harmless from third-party claims arising from the user's unlawful misuse of the Services, infringement of another person's rights, unauthorized disclosure of confidential information, or material violation of these Terms.

This provision does not apply to the extent prohibited by law.

ElevateU may suspend or terminate access to Services when reasonably necessary because of a material violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, security threats, misuse of the Services, or nonpayment of applicable fees.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, it will be limited or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

ElevateU may periodically update these Terms to reflect changes in its Services, business practices, or legal obligations.

Updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date. Where required by law, additional notice of material changes will be provided.
